The Sierra-Nisly family is here visiting for a couple of weeks and we got to celebrate Jessie's 7th birthday yesterday with them. It's pretty fun to watch these cousins play, they were off and running as soon as Jessie and JoJo got out of the car
we set up a little obstacle course, I think they all enjoyed cheering more than doing the course
It might look like Ashlynn is playing Twister. I was trying to keep her away but sometimes she just couldn't resist jumping on someone's back or crawling through their legs
Our girls had never hit a pinata, so they were pretty excited. Buddie and Louie (our newest calf) liked the show too

randoms
Just some pictures I had on my camera from the past couple of weeks
A clean and clothed Ashlynn, I have to document it because she has a hard time staying this way
I had friends over one day to help can our pears, we got a lot done while we let the seven little girls play(destroy the rest of the house)
Leah will be two months old this week! She's so much like her sisters were at this age: strong, a good eater, mellow, and pretty poor when it comes to sleeping at night. I'm trying not to get my hopes up too much but you can kind of see in this picture that her hair is still red - I hope it stays
More typical Ashlynn, boots, undies, eating fruit with the juice dripping ALL OVER her body. When she comes in after "picking" blackberries I am amazed at how she can get so many on her face, and in her hair. I often say I don't know where Adie and Eliza get their personalities and love for everything pink, sparkly, and beautiful. I'm afraid to say I think I know where Ash gets her personality...I'm guessing this is more of what I was like as a tot

Eli and Simone
I'm loving this new stage where Ashlynn actually plays with her friends. I should know by now that until this age there isn't a lot of actual playing together. Eli and her were so sweet together, finally!
Tris brought lots of books for A and E, they love them all. Next time she's here I'm going to make her read the Barbie Fairytopia Mermaidia one about the Merfairies, their pets fin fin and tu tu, the bad Fungi guys in the Hinterland, the the fluff bubbles giving out the true self and the immunity berries. Seriously though, we appreciate the books
Building tracks for the cars
Adie caught a chicken so Eli could pet her, this was after he cracked up watching Eliza try to throw the chicken over the fence when it got out. I guess he was retelling the story of E throwing the chicken into the fence, which was pretty accurate.
sweet, sweet, sweet
Our little Joe Dirt
Leah and Simone hanging out together, here's Ash and Eli at similar ages http://nislyfam.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Simone is one pretty little baby, unfortunately I didn't get a great pic of her. But, here she is doing her sit ups
We had the BEST day Monday when Tristan and her kids, and Trina came down and spent the day with us. It's depressing to me when the Symons or the Lacey's leave our house and go all the way back to Seattle. Hopefully I'm brave enough to do the drive up there before too long.

???
Adie and Eliza got to go to the Dahlia festival with Ryan's mom and aunt this weekend, if you don't know Sharon and Melvena, no that is not them in the picture. I guess these two women wanted their picture with Adie and Eliza, I'm curious what they will do with their copy...I like the looks on A and E's faces - a little nervous and maybe a little confused. I laugh every time I look at it though.
