Devils Lake

We finally got to try out our travel trailer be bought at the end of the summer - we spent two nights at Devils Lake campground and had a great time. The camp ground was pretty flooded so the girls loved playing in the puddles and getting soaked

Leah was being so funny when I was trying to get a decent picture of the four of them, she couldn't give me a normal smile

                     After a couple face plants in the puddles Leah was done with the water

                                           The pictures don't show how soaked they were

 After drying off we headed down to Newport, the waves at Boiler Bay were pretty amazing, Ash loved watching and didn't want to leave but everyone else was cold

 

 

 

 

                        We spent a couple hours at the science center, the girls all loved it

 

 

 

 

 

 Then a stop at the candy shop where Ryan said yes to this huge/gross gummy snake - I think that was a highlight for them

 We spent a lot of time just relaxing, coloring, and playing games in the trailer where it was nice and warm

 Their favorite game this trip was Headbandz, even Leah loved it.  It's hard to explain through pictures just how funny she is right now - she had us all laughing quite a bit

 

                                  It was great to get away from home for  a couple of days!
