Cousin Time

I made my first little road trip without Ryan since Leah has been born, we spent a couple of days with my sisters and their kids in Talent and Ashland.  It was a lot of work at times but worth it, and very doable with these four - especially since my sisters are out of the baby stage with their kids and help me out.
Vinny let the girls Dr. up his leg with Toilet paper, and pamper him by bringing him toys and stuffed animals.  In this picture Ila is reading to him.  It was pretty sweet to walk in on Ila reading to the girls this trip
Had to get a picture of Opal's outfit, her shorts are there somewhere
The hardest part of the trip for me was that Ash and Leah both wanted me a lot, and neither are the most patient or polite yet - Annie was awesome at distracting Ash for me.
Leah's first time in the sand, it took her about 5 minutes before she started eating it
Annie made all of the girls journals, they loved writing down what they saw (turtles, geese, deer, a tee pee) at North Mountain Park

We got to watch Gus play baseball, I'm not sure when he turned into this pre-teen (maybe not quite but he seems so old and mature to me).  I could barely stand watching him out there in his cute little uniform, hanging out with his boys.

Bonus of a mini van was that we all got to ride in one car on our outings, Ila and Opal didn't care too much for Leah's crying in the car (she really did great in the car, she barely cried at all on the 4 hour stretches there and back).
                                                           our girls loved their trampoline
and the ride home the girls were wiped out
It was a really fun trip, the bonds among these cousins is amazing and keeping them as close as they are is worth the hard parts
