We had the best little trip to South Beach in Newport for the Fourth of July this year. We went with several families for five days, our longest glamping trip yet. Even after five days it was hard to leave, I LOVE having a travel trailer, it makes everything so much easier. Everybody getting good sleep is probably the biggest change from tent camping in past summers. And, having a fridge and oven/stove is pretty awesome too.
The kids played hard from the time they woke up until their heads hit their pillows each night.Leah and Marcus, these two kill me when they play together. Too cute
Adie and Eliza were in heaven getting so much time to play with Alyssa
Most of the gang - they spent so much time riding bikes around the loop
Ashlynn and Leah got their dog fix
"chest bump" after scoring in Hillbilly Horseshoes
Ashlynn and Carter had fun getting to know each other
We always have the girls tell us their favorite parts of a weekend like this. They all loved the parents vs. kids soccer game, I think the adults loved it just as much.
The park hosted a bike parade through the campgrounds so the kids decorated their bikes to get ready. Decorating was definitely more fun for them than riding in the parade (too slow and crowded for most of them)
After the parade Ash stayed to do the little games they had. It was fun watching her have so much fun - she loved it
Eliza, Adie and Alyssa joined for the last game and the water balloon fight
Leah tidied up for me a couple times
Catch Phrase for a little down time
Our last night Adie was so tired I was worried she was going to pass out but she didn't want to go to bed and miss out on anything.
It was so fun to see Ashlynn and some new buddies sitting around cracking up together
And the way home, maybe a little too much time together!
The chest bump is my fave:)
