Ashlynn's Birthday

Ashlynn turned 4 this week!  She is still quite a character and keeps all of us laughing.  This year she loves her time at home when A and E are at school.  The days we are home she spends her time mostly dribbling, playing with tinkertoys, coloring, and playing with polly pockets, or following me around talking.  She has learned to ride a bike and is getting better but still needs me to help her start, she likes shooting baskets, playing tag and hide and seek.  During Leah's nap we usually do a little reading and she's getting pretty good.  If I would let her she would play video games all day.  I let her get on pbskids about once a month but she still requests it every day.

Her favorite outfit these days are these spandex, she prefers no shirt but when we are going out I make her wear one

We probably tell her at least 3 times every day since Leah has been born to not pick her up.  It wouldn't be so bad but she picks her up and starts running, and Leah is usually screaming. But in this picture below she was being sweet and trying to help her see the sheep.
She still drags all of her bedding into the hallway to sleep, and still drags it into our room in the middle of the night most nights

For her birthday she requested cupcakes with lots of red frosting and sprinkles, puffy cheetohs, and mac and cheese from a box - she's actually a really good eater despite her unhealthy birthday choices - but it was fun to give her what she wanted.
We had family over Sunday to help us celebrate her (and Ryan).

We got her a little karaoke machine that they've been having fun with - she loves dancing and listening to music

She has gotten easier in the last year, we still have a little work to do (recently it's talking back and having "but I..." when we're telling her to do/or not do something) but overall she's still our sweet and spunky little Ashlynn Rose.
