I managed to enjoy the snow even though I was suppose to be enjoying a kidless weekend with my best girlfriends. Adie and Eliza loved playing in it, Ash had fun today but didn't quite have the stamina they had. And Leah didn't care for it, at all.
We've got a few good options for sledding up here so we spent a lot of time doing that
No idea why Adie's arm looks so long...we made snow ice cream both nights
roasting hot dogs in their fort
Today we spent the afternoon sledding on the neighbors hill
This picture below has our house in the background
See the girls sitting at the bottom of this hill in the picture below? And (neighbor) Ryan's legs under the tree? They were there to stop the sledders from going into the little creek or from hitting a tree - Eliza was the only one to make it in once, luckily it was only a trickle of water.
Building snowmen with Braden and Reid
Ryan and Ryan making a new sled run, this one had a jump
We made each of the kids a chair to enjoy their hot chocolate
And Ryan finished off the day with this huge snowman. Adie and Eliza helped for a while but both ended up coming in, wiped out from their fun day.
Usually when it snows here one little snowman uses up all of the snow in the yard, there was plenty to go around this year.
