Leah at one

Our sweet little LuLu is one, she loved her birthday cupcake and her new glow bug she got from Grandma and Grandpa.  She can hold her own pretty well with her big sisters - she's not afraid to swat someone away if they are in her way, or scream and swat if they don't give her the toy she wants.  When she's done nursing she also pops up and starts swatting her milk source away - little stinker.

 

 

 She loves playing in water, sucking her thumb, playing with balls, playing with babies, eating, being chased, reading books, and being the center of attention.  When she knows everyone is watching her she screams and laughs getting everyone to laugh at her more.  Another funny thing about her is how she copies the big girls.  They don't sit on couches, they do somersaults off, do headstands on them, or lay across the top like a cat. I've noticed lately that when Leah is on the couch she gets away from me and tries to do a somersault or stand on her head, like she thinks that's what you get to do on a couch.

She liked the slip and slide for a while, we'd send her down by herself going backwards and have someone catch her on the bottom.  Then the last time we tried it we sent her naked and she went too fast, it scared her so now she's happy on the other side of the fence.  She also loves sitting at the bottom and screams and laughs when the girls are coming towards her.

We love this age, she's a lot of fun right now!
